Well I will say the main inhibiting factor is I can’t relocate. I found some awesome places to work in SF, NYC, and even Canada, but I have no way to relocate currently and a lot of big organizations aren’t open to remote. Plus, you need to have connections like I mentioned in the article. But if you can relocate it should be much easier, and if not then I recommend looking at remote job websites to help.
